Participants shall be provided Rs.20,000 as virtual money for buying the stocks listed on stock market through the simulation portal.
Participants can buy or sell the stocks multiple times throughout the competition till they have virtual balance in their account.
Participants need to complete the transaction. Short selling without buying a stock would make the candidate ineligible for prizes or awards.
Buying and selling can be executed during the live trading hours on the day(s) of competition.
The use of options, futures, and leverage have not been enabled for the competition.
No Manipulation-Upper and Lower Circuit: The competition prevents a player from buying a stock if the stock has hit the upper circuit. Similarly, it prevents a player from selling a stock hitting the lower circuit. This is to make the simulation realistic and non-manipulative.
Stocks available through simulation portal
Only transactions stored in the Stock Market Olympiad database will be recognized for purposes of evaluating portfolio total equity.
The final rankings will be established based on each portfolio’s absolute return (worth of equities plus cash in the account of a participant) at the end of the competition. The portfolio with the highest absolute return will be deemed as the winner.
Participants who achieve the best absolute returns at the end of the competition will be awarded by scholarships.
We hold a competitive selection process for scholarships with a minimum of 3000 candidates. If the number of candidates is less in a district, we merge the districts to ensure a decent level of competition.
Top 10 finalists shall be provided Special Recognition Certificate
In case of a tie when determining the final ranking, the scholarship shall be divided among the participants.
Any attempt to tamper or to manipulate the results will automatically result in a disqualification.
Participants that do not adhere to the rules set forth in the Regulations may be disqualified at the discretion of the Stock Market Olympiad.
You must abide by all rules, regulations and restrictions stated by Stock Market Olympiad.
If Stock Market Olympiad disqualifies a participant from the competition, then the participant will not be reinstated and the participant will not be eligible for any scholarship.
The computations for listing the winners are not subject to review or challenge. Stock Market Olympiad holds the sole discretion in ascertaining the rankings of the participants.
If required, the rules for the competition can be changed at the Stock Market Olympiad discretion without consent and/or approval from participants. But they shall be notified to all participants. All changes will be binding for the participants.
In order to be eligible for a scholarship, winners must comply with these eligibility criteria.
Participation certificates must be downloaded within 48 hours of the declaration of results.

Once your account is cancelled all of your Content will be immediately deleted from the Service. Since deletion of all data is final please be sure that you really want to cancel your account before doing so.
If you cancel the Service in the middle of the month, you will receive one intimation via email.
No refunds are offered after one has registered for the Olympiad.
We reserve the right to modify or terminate the Stock Market Olympiad (A Product of BBX Infotech Private Limited) service for any reason, without notice at any time.
Fraud: Without limiting any other remedies, Stock Market Olympiad (A Product of BBX Infotech Private Limited) may suspend or terminate your account if we suspect that you (by conviction, settlement, insurance or escrow investigation, or otherwise) have engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the Site.
